Tuesday Post: More tasty than a mouth full of chipped polish?

First of all, a huge hat tip to Chicken Khurana for writing what we were all thinking while watching the Nargis "item."

You’d think the svelte girl in harem pants and sparkles, baring her belly button in a Hindi film song is the item, but Fakhri is about as comfortable in Dhating Naach as Queen Elizabeth II in Glastonbury. She can’t swivel her hips, she’s about as flexible as a ballpoint pen refill, her dhak-dhak makes you want to duck-duck-go for the ageing Malaika Arora Khan. Plus, it looks like the wardrobe guys basically flung different pieces of costume jewellery at her. Whatever was caught by the material is there, dangling apologetically. And maybe some of you are turned on by the sight of a woman biting a massive, fake nail. Me, I’m wondering is how much chipped nail polish is in her mouth.

I guess we'll start below the cut with Zanjeer drama... the high court rules against Salim-Javed.

And despite being in jail, Sanjay Dutt is getting some play in the press for his qawwali--whether he can top Pran remains to be seen.

I miss these old films...

I would very much suggest that none of these ladies get anywhere near a Madhur Bhandarkar project. The Bandar Car is one nobody needs to ride.

Amala Paul to head to Bombay with the Ramana remake?

Is there anything more condescending than the phrase woman-centered film? How about just calling a film centering on a main female character 'a film' and then make more of them? Women centered films never mean something like Malashree beating up people and always mean something romantic or depressing and/or earnest but poorly made... sigh.

Vidyut Jamwal in Rajkumar Santoshi's next?

Aamir Khan has a script for his next directorial project?

Pankaj Kapoor and Naseer together?

And since everybody wants to erase Nargis's terrible dancing from their minds, please have some G-Dragon:

Re: Vidyut news, it's not as big a step up as Happy New Year would been, but it is a step-up.

Re: Gabbar: the Asian Age news site claimed Amala was being offered a supporting role, not necessarily the heroine, and Ileana supposedly confirmed she was in this one recently, after her spokesperson had denied it a while back. either of them would be good as the college student/stalker, and fairly bad ideas as the actual love interest: Amala is literally just about the same age as Akshay's stage name/film career as a lead, while Ileana is so dainty and delicate-featured, that it would only underline the age gap.

Note from Filmi Girl:

I love Bollywood - and all the ridiculous things that happen in Bollywood - but it doesn't mean that I can't occasionally make fun of various celebrities and films.

If you don't like my sense of humor, please just move on by - Trolls are not appreciated and nasty comments will be deleted.
