Saturday Gossip!

So... I went to see The Chaser last night at a special director's screening with Na Hong-jin and it was really good!! If Murder 2 was "inspired by" it, they would have had to do a lot of whitewashing of the plot - even if it was a Bhatt production. Going to try to catch his next film on Sunday. If there is a Q&A, I'll try to ask if he's heard of Murder 2. I'd be curious to hear about that...

Anyways, onto news!

* Everything's coming up Abraham! Great reviews so far for Vicky Donor! And, as for John himself... he'd like to try directing in a few years.

* Gautham Menon blames his poor choice in heroes for his Bollywood duds. Considering his last starred Prateik Babbar... he might be onto something.

* Salman Khan says there will be romance in Dabangg 2.

"There's a lot of romance in DABANGG 2. And [Sonakshi] has done a very good job. After all she's Mrs. Pandey now!"

Oh, never change, Salman! NEVER. CHANGE.

* I don't like how the media is handling the Shahid stalker case. Clearly the woman is suffering from something like a schizophrenic break or at the least, a mental breakdown. And yet they are acting like she is doing this for fun or something.

Shahid, himself, has finally filed a complaint. I only hope they can get the woman the treatment she needs.

* Sunny Leone for Ragini MMS 2.

* Shilpa Shetty to co-produce a gangster film with Eros.

* Lovely Anjana Sukhani, who should really head back down South, where they appreciate her, is doing an item for Kamal Dhamaal Malamaal.

* Just stop, Zayed Khan. JUST STOP ALREADY. Zayed "Inability to take a hint" Khan is producing another film.

"We haven't boiled down on who is in the film. I am dying to do the film. But I will have to audition for it. We want cool, edgy characters. I am excited to be part of it," said Zayed.

Because when I think "cool and edgy," Zayed Khan is the first name that comes to mind. Why not just get Neil and Harman Baweja to join you and call it a day.

* Has Emraan Hashmi become too pricey for the Bhatts or are they just growing apart?

"He (Emraan) has other people to work with which will make him richer. He is our flesh but he does not have to work with us always. That is why Kunal Khemu is one of the major actors in whom we will invest. Even Randeep Hooda is a great actor. His potential has not been exploited properly. We will not lean on Emraan Hashmi only, otherwise we will become like everybody else. We will move away from the safety of being with Emraan," Bhatt said.

Hey, anything that leads to more Kunal Khemu on my film screens is okay by me.

Trailer for Kandathum Kanathahum - is that Mumbaith Khan I spy?

FG, did you watch the video that accompanied the Salman quote you cited? It's much more funny in context. :) It's clear he's teasing Sonakshi -- first asking her to say one of her lines from the film, and when she protests, says, of course she can do anything, "Mrs. Rajjo Pandey can do anything -- see how she's blushing?" And she was, too. Very funny. Thanks for finding this clip!

@moimeme As I said, "Never change, Salman. Never. Change." LOLOLOL!!! I think only Salman should be doing press interviews. Other actors are too boring. ;)

Note from Filmi Girl:

I love Bollywood - and all the ridiculous things that happen in Bollywood - but it doesn't mean that I can't occasionally make fun of various celebrities and films.

If you don't like my sense of humor, please just move on by - Trolls are not appreciated and nasty comments will be deleted.
