Thursday Gossip!

First things first, if you haven't read Taran Adarsh's Ek Main aur Ekk Tu review prepare yourself...

Set in an urban landscape [Las Vegas, Mumbai], EK MAIN AUR EKK TU is essentially a two-seater vehicle that excuses itself from the banal and hackneyed prescription, but endorses the longstanding theme of opposites magnetize.

So... translating through Taran's thesaurus, we can say it's your typical romantic-comedy in which opposites magnetize attract.

* Yaadein has made me really bitter towards Subhash Ghai but I do feel bad for the trouble Whistling Woods is having. Ghai has to hand over the Whistling Woods land to the government.

* Race 2 producer Ramesh Taurani is not too happy with Deepika Padukone.

“Earlier, in October, we had to change our schedule since Deepika had date problems. This was due to her film with Ayan Mukerji to be produced by Karan Johar. At the time, I had spoken to Karan and worked out a schedule that would help Deepika manage both the projects. Now, when everything is in place, she just walks out after six days of shoot. What can I say? We are left with no choice. Our directors and the other actors are extremely annoyed with her,” said the troubled producer.

* Bipasha says... this.

"You know what, some of these Hollywood romcoms can be really bad too," says Bipasha, "This genre may be comparatively new for us but then out there in the West, they come out on an everyday basis and some of them are really terrible. You watch them and realise that absolutely nothing is happening in them. They just drag on and on."

WHAT?! HOLLYWOOD CAN MAKE BAD FILMS!? Well, who would have thunk it... the way Bollywood goes on sometimes, it's like tripe like What Happens In Vegas is some sort of sacred text instead of just a bad rom-com.

* Koffee With Karan will be returning to our televisions.

* Vikram is learning Hindi for Bejoy Nambiar's new film. (Psst... despite what the article says, it wasn't Vikram's thickly accented Hindi that was the problem with Raavan.)

BEBO'S MUJRA from Agent Vinod! All other arguments are invalid!

OK that's the first thing that's made me remotely interested in Agent Vinod. Also someone send Shweta an awesome Bolly Chandeliers alert.

As for Taran's review it maybe the best unintentional comedy I've read in a while.

Hey FG,

The mujra looks awesome..... Waiting for more than a song teaser now.

Btw FG, did you get a chance to hear this?

Dhanush's new song on the lines of a dedication to Sachin Tendulkar (cricket player)...

Note from Filmi Girl:

I love Bollywood - and all the ridiculous things that happen in Bollywood - but it doesn't mean that I can't occasionally make fun of various celebrities and films.

If you don't like my sense of humor, please just move on by - Trolls are not appreciated and nasty comments will be deleted.
