Tuesday Gossip!

Today in gossip... find out about Shahrukh's new facial hair, Kalki's international debut, who got an "A" certificate, and a new song was released from that film nobody cares about so every story on it is about how Ritesh and Genelia are getting married!

* Kalki Koechlin has a small role in Frieda Pinto's Trishna!

After the premiere Kalki even said that Trishna is not the kind of film with an Indian backdrop that one would expect from an offshore director. “He’s brought authenticity and kept the story-telling organic. It was a disturbing film, so hard hitting that I’m still recovering from it.” Kalki’s next has her playing a half-Brit-half Indian expatriate in Shanghai.

* Eros Entertainment has... a new iPad app. The review?

The app crashed a few times and like we mentioned earlier. At times, the fake movie poster utility did not work for us and froze. Overall, the app offers the same content that bollywood portals such as Bollywood Hungama, Buzz18 and others offer, albeit it is a little bit more organised. However, only a few movie titles are featured, so it definitely needs content from more titles.

* The unfortunately named Ek Main aur Ek Tu is having censor board troubles... apparently they didn't approve of the use of the word 'sex' in the trailer.

* Tigermanshu Dhulia's new film? A biopic on Verghese Kurien: milkman.

* Do we really need Punit Malhotra to make an acting debut? Apparently the leading ladies of Bollywood aren't too keen on it either.

* Rekha Bhardwaj performed at Pride in Delhi!

* A classic example of the Bollywood media machine at work - Shahrukh tweets about growing a beard; 20 articles appear within hours padding the tweet into 250-500 word "news stories."

Check out the trailer for Manoj Bajpai's Lanka!

And another song from Tere Naal Love Ho Gaya...

Note from Filmi Girl:

I love Bollywood - and all the ridiculous things that happen in Bollywood - but it doesn't mean that I can't occasionally make fun of various celebrities and films.

If you don't like my sense of humor, please just move on by - Trolls are not appreciated and nasty comments will be deleted.
