Wednesday Gossip!

Today in gossip... more Sanjay Dutt than you could hope for; Hema is pulling out all the stops for Esha's re-launch; the Deols in 3D; LOLO will be back on our screens; and MORE!

* Disney has made an offer for
UTV... could we be seeing the dancers in mouse ears?!

Bheja Fry 2 is being released on youtube for US audiences. So, now is your chance!

* Pakistan is going to begin screening
Iranian films.

* Katrina and Salman are going to be shooting at
Trinity College in Dublin for Ek Tha Tiger.

* Hema Malini is bringing out the big gun for Esha's relauch -
Salman Khan. He's offered to appear in Tell Me O Khuda.

* Zoya Akhtar answers some pointless
interview questions with pointless answers.

Does Bollywood have a class system — the insiders versus outsiders debate?

Bollywood is good like that. Nobody cares about caste or class. They don’t give a s**t. Shah Rukh Khan is not an industry kid. You don’t become successful because you are an industry kid. You might get a shot at it but you won’t succeed. At the end of the day, the audience is a great leveller.

Trufax, ma'am, as the kids say.

* Don't let anybody call Prakash Raaj

Prakash was born in a Tulu-speaking family and studied at St Joseph’s school and college in Bengaluru. Though he doesn’t reveal much about his stint here, he says, “This city has chiseled me. My perceptions and sensibilities are rooted in Bengaluru.”

* Lovely Kajal Agarwal will be seen with
Surya in Maatraan!

* The Deols return in 3D (?????) with
Masters. Seriously, ya? Nobody needs Sunny in 3D in 2011. In the 1980s, maybe...

* Has Shahrukh completely taken
Ra.1 away from Anubhav Sinha?

* Sneak a peek of Sanju-baba in
Ra.1. (Also, he won't be returning to politics.)

* This is kind of a
sad interview with Sanjay Dutt. I can't put my finger on it but he seems... almost melancholy.

"A lot of changes have taken place in the industry and I sometimes feel very sad with most of them. When we were introduced to the industry, there used to be competition among actors, but there used to more respect," Sanjay, who made his acting debut with "Rocky" in 1981, told in an interview.

"There used to be more togetherness. The film industry used to be a family. Now that is not the case. It has become a dirty game now. I'm not a part of that game, I do my own stuff, but I have noticed that and it is very sad," added the actor who has so far worked in more than 130 movies.

* The bad idea
Satte Pe Satta remake trundles along. Karishma Kapoor is now attached.

* Lolo may also do an item number for
Housefull 2.

* Abhishek Bachchan very smartly decided to push the
Players release date back, so it doesn't clash with Don 2.

* Sohail Khan buys into Shilpa's old
night club... I don't know why I found this interesting. Just Bollywood politics at work...

Khap, the honor killing film, has been facing protests.

* My friend Pitobash talks about
I Am Kalam.

"The film is about dreams, importance of education and elimination of child labour which is very much prevalent in India. The film conveys a simple message, 'Dare to dream'."

Poster for Adah Sharma's new film Phrir! She totally rocked in 1920 and I can't wait to see what comes next!

Note from Filmi Girl:

I love Bollywood - and all the ridiculous things that happen in Bollywood - but it doesn't mean that I can't occasionally make fun of various celebrities and films.

If you don't like my sense of humor, please just move on by - Trolls are not appreciated and nasty comments will be deleted.
