What's Your Rashee? Hero Edition!

Despite middling reviews of the film as a whole, Priyanka Chopra's 12-role tour of the zodiac has been singled out for praise.

I thought I would share my own zodiac: a different actor for every star sign! I don't actually believe in astrology, so if somebody else wants to draw some conclusions from this - by all means, go for it!

Aries: Ajay Devgan (April 2, 1969)

Taurus: Dev Patel (April 23, 1990)

Gemini: Kunal Khemu (May 25, 1983)

Cancer: Shotgun Sinha (July 15, 1946)

Leo: Manoj Kumar (July 24, 1937)

Virgo: Akshay Kumar (September 9, 1967)

Libra: Ashok Kumar (October 13, 1911)

Scorpio: Shahrukh Khan (November 2, 1965)

Sagittarius: John Abraham (December 17, 1972)

Capricorn: Anil Kapoor (December 24, 1959)

Aquarius: Pran (February 12, 1920)

Pisces: Aamir Khan (March 14, 1965)

Middling reviews? You are being generous. LOL

WYR is getting terrible reviews. The highest rating seen so far has been 2/5.

This is as expected since the promos were not interesting and the gimmick of one person playing multiple (12) characters usually does not work.

Ashutosh needs to get back to basics and focus on his strengths.

Anyway, nice posting but you left out some hot guys.

Oh no! I share the same star sign with Anil Kapoor :(

On the other hand Akshay is a Virgo which is the sign I'm supposed to get along best (yeah I'll keep dreaming...)

@anonymous I tried my best but a lot of these guys share the same star signs. You would believe how many actors are all born in the fall...

@eliza Hee! I share mine with Dadamoni, so I'm not too sad. :)

I haven't seen the movie yet, but i think AG's problem is turning out to be the running time of the movies. 3+ hours is not good. One doesn't mind for period movies, but for the rest he should use the editing scissors, snip, snip, snip.

Great post!

Found a great site for this sort of thing, too. Bollywood Talk Celebrity Birthdays. Now I see why Dev Patel is on the list, his only competition is not-so-Shiney (maybe he should change his name to Matte.)

LOL! Matte! I love it!

I also love that I am a Virgo since that means Akshay's birthday is only ten days from mine.

@Kiran I think you're right about the run time. The novelty wears off after a certain point and you just start checking your watch. Of course, I thought Jodhaa-Akbar could have had at least half an hour taken off the front end.

@moviemeh You got it! I searched high and low for a Taurus but Dev Patel was the only one I could stand looking at. :D

@ajnabi Shiney is in bad shape. Did you see the stories about his court appearance? He's headed to the hospital.

It seems like I'm in the minority that finds WYR's trailers kinda interesting.

Hm... of course, I guess I tend to be that way... liking movies that others seem down on, hating ones they like.

Yaayyy!! I was excited to see Kunal Khemu, Shahrukh Khan and John Abraham up there .. :D

This is soooo cool and thoughtful. Great job!

Note from Filmi Girl:

I love Bollywood - and all the ridiculous things that happen in Bollywood - but it doesn't mean that I can't occasionally make fun of various celebrities and films.
