We'll just have to wait and see what the next few days bring.
And if Salman Khan continues with helping to launch the brat.
And if Suniel Shetty will let his daughter be launched opposite him.
Ram Gopal Varma apparently put together a short tribute video to Jiah that made me cry at 6:30am. Just a warning.
(I'd also warn against clicking on ANY of the Suraj Pancholi links unless you have a morbid desire to rehash the heart breaking cry for help in Jiah's suicide note. Al Jazeera, the first one I linked to, is the most respectful but it doesn't tell you anything more than I just did. The rest grow increasingly lurid in detail.)
Finally, we have somebody to blame for giving us Poonam Pandey and Veena Malik.
Satish Reddy said, “The creativity makes Poonam Pandey and Veena Malik in Bollywood as a brand. They are the fireworks and I am just the one to ignite them and make them the bombshell of the Industry. Currently I am busy in my upcoming movie The City That Never Sleeps starring Veena Malik, Nataliya Kozhenova, Devshi Khanduri, Jonita Doda, Bhairavi Goswami, Bollywood actor Murli Sharma and Hollywood star Jeremy Marr Williams.”
Coincidentally, he's also the man behind a chain of haunted houses.
"The Bombshell of the Industry" is the new "Bomb of the College"? Yes/Yes?
I can't stand these sleazy guys and I can't stand women willing to play along and reduce themselves to a pair of assets, just to get media attention. AND I can't stand the media who plays along with them both. Satish may have spurred Poonam Pandey to offer to strip but nobody had to cover it and turn it into a story, you know? Well, unless they had already taken the cash. Ammirite, TOI?
Speaking of, for your laff of the day, the TOI is reporting that Cherry's face is on biscuit packets in Japan. Which is true to an extent. But if you google for more than 2 seconds, you can figure out that somebody paid to have the packets printed - like you can do at the mall with your graduation photo.
Excellent journalism as always, TOI.
Yeh Jawaani Hai Dewaani is the latest film to suffer libel charges from a brand. Corporations are people, my friend.
Ranbir and Anurag Basu are launching a production banner called Picture Shuru Productions. I guess that is where the money is these days. Let's see what kinds of films Ranbir will decide to make for himself.
Yami "I hope she can do better than her performance in Vicky Donor" Gautham has been cast as the second lead in Prabudeva's upcoming Sonakshi-Ajay film.
Prithviraj is joining Shahrukh Khan in Happy New Year. Well, Farah has always had a good eye for a hunk... on film, anyways.
CHENNAI EXPRESS! This kind of feels like an ad for Rohit Shetty's Shelect Cologne... but it's interesting to FINALLY see something from the film. I'm still not convinced this isn't going to be a South Indian Minstrel Show but I guess we can't really know until the film comes out.
PS The theme song still sucks.
