Monday Gossip!

Good morning, film fans!

Just a quick note - I will be going to visit my grandparents later this week and won't be regularly posting from WEDNESDAY the 15th through MONDAY the 20th. I may pop in to post a review or some pictures but gossip updates will be on hiatus for that time.

And now onto news!

* Theater strike in Tamil Nadu on the 23rd.

* Ek Main aur Ekk Tu did okay at the box office this weekend. And, sadly, Imran declines a chance to be part of Arjun Rampal's Hater Show... and here I had already given dates. (Joking!)

* Mahesh Bhatt says drug abuse is part of HOLLYwood's heritage.

"The pressure of stardom cries out for relief. The taste of success cries out for celebration. Drug abuse is a part of Hollywood's heritage," the 63-year-old filmmaker posted on Twitter.

Right... pot calling kettle black alert. Drug abuse is part of BOLLYwood's heritage, too.

* Priyanka Chopra can't work with any of the major heroes. Mumbai Mirror runs down her list of burnt bridges.

Ajay Devgn

The last time Devgn and PC worked together was in Blackmail (2005). They were paired together in Naam, but she walked out of the film after barely three days of shooting. Though PC cited date issues, the buzz was that she'd made those same dates available for one of Akki's films. Naam still hasn't seen the light of day, something Devgn is yet to forgive PC for or even forget.

* Govinda gets a hair transplant. With pictures!

* Vivek Oberoi is a no go for Zarine Khan.

* Ram Charan Teja's Zanjeer starts shooting in April.

* Ritesh Deshmukh tweeted this yesterday but... a picture of PRAN GIVING HIS HANDPRINTS for the Walk of Fame.

* Ranveer Singh is grabbing his career with both hands and leaving Yash Raj behind.

* Promos of Shanghai rejiggered to feature Emraan Hashmi.

* Prabhu Deva is releasing a music album?

I don't think I've posted this yet... London Paris New York! A film I'm only interested in because of ALI ZAFAR!

Note from Filmi Girl:

I love Bollywood - and all the ridiculous things that happen in Bollywood - but it doesn't mean that I can't occasionally make fun of various celebrities and films.

If you don't like my sense of humor, please just move on by - Trolls are not appreciated and nasty comments will be deleted.
