Monday Gossip!

For those missing the sound of my lovely voice, I recorded a movie commentary track with my friend The Paxton Configuration. We discuss the 2010 film Rubber - a gonzo French flick about a killer tire.

You can listen here or find it on iTunes.

Now... today in gossip - the industry hits a six in July; Mandakini's waterfall scene is too bold for Bebo; Sanjay Dutt has officially entered Disco Uncle territory; and MORE!

* Industry folk should be happy with
six hits this July!

* Mr. India Rajneesh Duggal is set to romance... Karishma Kapoor.

* Kangana is doing
Ishqiya 2!

* Bebo thinks
Mandakini's waterfall scene is too bold to recreate for Once Upon a Time in Mumbai 2. It just goes to show you how desexualized the bikini actually is... she has no problems wearing tiny swim suits but that dripping wet white sari... well, now that's too sexy.

(See the
original for yourself.)

* Bips and Piggy Chops unite for
Ganesh Hegde's hip hop video. It's titled "Mindblowing."

* Now, there are people protesting the protests over
Khap - A Story of an Honor Killing.

* Sanjay Dutt's latest film is in
financial trouble. Equipment has been seized by a hotel in Goa because the producer hasn't (or can't) paid for the rooms.

* Sameera Reddy is that odd actress who works across
all industries and film types without discrimination. I feel like Sameera probably does chose films based on her role and nothing else.

So be it a national award-winning film like Kalpurush to masala movies to even
documentaries, she has done it all. Doing different kinds of films is important for Sameera but she says an actor cannot take this risk if he or she is not established. But she also feels, “If you start experimenting with roles right from the beginning, you will not have an image that the audience can relate to.”

Can somebody
please stop Disco Uncle Sanjay Dutt? This is getting into Rishi Kapoor in bobbly sweater territory...

And OH MY GOD is that Ameesha Patel?! She's almost unrecognizable! What did she do to her face?

... That Sanjay Dutt clip is actually quite embarrassing, to be honest.

Note from Filmi Girl:

I love Bollywood - and all the ridiculous things that happen in Bollywood - but it doesn't mean that I can't occasionally make fun of various celebrities and films.

If you don't like my sense of humor, please just move on by - Trolls are not appreciated and nasty comments will be deleted.
