Host: “Right now there’s a protest going on right outside here calling the Miss Universe Pageant disrespectful to women. Convince them that they’re wrong.”
Lara: “I think pageants like the Miss Universe pageant gives us young women a platform to foray into the fields that we want to forge ahead - be it entreprenuership, be it the armed forces, be it politics. It gives us a platform to voice our choices and opinions and makes us the strong independent women that we are today.”

Also, her answer in the question round was considered so good, that it was the highest ever score in any round of any Miss Universe contest.
Lara looks amazing in the bikini...so many (at least US) pageant girls look way too thin. Lara looks amazing, and no rib cage sticking out or collar bones stickingout!
Lara also deserves an award for most fun rapidfire rounds on KWK.
@Jess: Agreed. I love Lara, actually. She seems like she'd be super-fun to hang out with, and she's got that mischievous wit.
