I had this idea while doing my Bollywood for Beginners series - wouldn't it be fun to see how all our favorite heroes were introduced?
Check out the first installment on Ajay Devgn!

As if summoned by God himself, Hrithik Roshan was launched in January 2000 in a romantic-masala extravaganza called Kaho Na Pyaar Hai. After a full decade of Khan dominance in Bollywood, audiences were ready for something new.

The film opens with an adoring crowd... who are they waiting for? WHO?

Shoes, pants, jacket... check!

The crowd grows impatient for the now fully-dressed mystery hero...

Left foot, right foot...

"WE WANT THE HERO!"

OMG WHO IS IT?!

"WE WANT THE HERO!"

OMG WHO IS IT?!!!!!

The profile...!

The bedroom eyes...!

The cheeky grin...!

The dreamboat look...!

LOOK WHAT HE CAN DO!
Hrithik treats us to his full Hero palate of emotions in just a few seconds!

I love that he still does this move... like he literally does this in "Senorita."

No! DON'T ZOOM OUT!

OH BTW HE CANfake PLAY GUITAR!

Camera studiously avoids Hrithik's right hand.

Wha?!

It was all a dream!

Welcome to Bollywood, Hrithik!

LOVE this movie. It's so damn cheesy but that boy is BEAUTIFUL. And of course one of my all time fave Hindi songs is from KNPH: Ek Pal Ka Jeena.
This was Amisha's debut as well yes?
@Bombay Talkies
This was Amisha's debut, although it was meant to have been Kareena's debut. Apparently, she left the movie after giving a couple of shots.
Those were the years when Kareena had a reputation of being a pugnacious co-star who had problems with everyone she worked with--especially while doing multi-starers like Ajnabee (which, incidentally, was Bipasha's debut).
I actually just watched this film recently (as in a couple of weeks ago), and I didn't really enjoy the film, but yes, Hrithik... So much love. Especially when they're stranded on that deserted island...
Veenu_ub:*"Kaho Na Pyaar Hai"was Historic event in d history of Bollywood N Hrithik's Dhammal was a hypnotic Attraction.*
Aw, I also love this film... so epic.
I was also thinking about making a similar post for KK about the introductions of the Kapoors... I hope that' s okay for you, because I didn't know you were doing this as well...
