One of our unusual American holidays is St. Patrick's Day - a celebration of all things Irish! Mostly, we just use it as an excuse to go have a lot of beer and some Irish car bombs but it's still a good time!
So, go celebrate!

Rani Mukerjee on the cover of People wants you to!

Why can't anybody get a good cover photo of Ranveer Singh?! He always look ridiculous.
Now, gossip!
* Poor Ramya is being bashed by the media. She had a mini meltdown on Twitter yesterday.
* It doesn't get better than this: Abhay Deol is going to play a zombie in an upcoming film. Somebody alert io9!
* Anurag Basu talks Barfee.
There were rumours doing the rounds that Deepika Padukone walked out of the film...
The only actor who walked out of the film was Katrina Kaif. That was unfortunate. She had heard the story and I was really keen on having her on board. Maybe, she didn't want to feature in a film with another leading lady or maybe... there were other reasons, I don't know of.
I guarantee you that she didn't want to work with Priyanka Chopra.
* Read a nice little piece on Ali Zafar.
Things are only looking brighter with YashRaj playing mentor to the singer-actor who has now launched his music album Jhoom in India and worldwide through YashRaj Music. “I think I have been quite fortunate. Hopefully, things should always be as good!” says Ali, sauntering into their office.
* Imran Khan is doing his first naughty scene in Short Term Shaadi - which I will have to see for Bebo. If there is one lady who can make me want to go see a slick NRI rom-com, it's Bebo.
* Sharmila Tagore's tenure at the Censor Board is almost over.
* Kat is NOT doing a song with Salman in Joker.
* Salman's drunk driving incident comes back to haunt him - maybe a t-shirt tearing contest will help distract him from his troubles.
* Govinda is determined to launch his daughter - to the extent that he'll play a guest role in her debut film.
* Preity Zinta is moving to television.
* Trisha is taking on the Telugu remake of Bodyguard.
* Zarine Khan has a teensy role as a glam girl in Ready.
* Gulshan Grover says Boom was ahead of its time.
"The film was such that its eccentricities did not gel with the Indian audiences then. It was ahead of its time. In fact I make it a point to show the Boom DVD to my Hollywood friends because they seem to understand and appreciate the film better."
* Arya and Maddy have begun shooting Vettai.
* Boney Kapoor is in hospital. Get well, soon!

Ready with Salman and Asin is not the Hindi remake of Bodyguard. It's the Hindi remake of a Telugu movie of the same name that starred Ram and Genelia.
@larissa Thanks for the correction. :) Sometimes I'm a bit foggy early in the morning...
