Ah... that eternal Monday question... what happened to the weekend? Wasn't it just Sunday yesterday?
Working people of the world, unite! It's Monday, brothers and sisters!
* Did this conversation with Karan Johar really happened? Who is really unsure as to why he is not married?
So are you one of those sad wedding planners with nothing for themselves?
No. I aspire to be a wedding planner. I live out my own wedding vicariously. There’s no marriage in my kundli.
Why the finality?
I love my single existence. I love living with my mother. I feel I am married to her.
What do you mean 'why the finality'? REALLY?
* What are the most anticipated soundtracks of 2011.
Rockstar (A.R. Rahman)- [Release date- 27 May 2011]
For his last couple of films (Love Aaj Kal, Jab We Met), director Imtiaz Ali enjoyed quite a few terrific songs to his credit, courtesy Pritam. However, for Rockstar he has gone to A.R. Rahman. There is a history behind this association though. Years ago Imtiaz was supposed to kick start Rockstar with John Abraham and had hired the services of Rahman. Though the film couldn't take off then, now it has with Ranbir Kapoor as the leading man. One waits to see how further ahead has Rahman improvised in the years gone by to create a sound that goes well with the generation of the new decade. The music would also be looked at keenly since Rahman had a bad year in 2010 with none of his albums (Raavan, Jhootha Hi Sahi, Robot) doing well at the stands.
* Rajkumar Gupta talks about No One Killed Jessica.
Ask him if he received threats during the making of NOKJ and Rajkumar says, “Let me put it this way. No one called me directly.” Can that be a reason that the second half of the film doesn't delve much on the witnesses, cops and the politicians? “Not at all. Every character has a conclusion but the focus is on the journeys of the two protagonists. There is a beginning, middle and end to every character,” he affirms.
* Akshay Kumar is trying to put the ill will generated by the media over Tees Maar Khan behind him and is beginning promotions for Patiala House.
* Shreays Talepade has been cast as Akshay Kumar's brother in Joker!
* Shahrukh Khan is under fire for tax evasion.
* Kangana Ranaut turns down Krrish 2 because she's tired of secondary heroine roles.
* Kareena Kapoor is putting so much thought into her diets that it's amazing she can give a good performance.
"At 4 am she would have milk shakes or milk - food that was light but enough to sustain the cold and feel enthusiastic about working."
A scene where Kareena had to eat several pancakes topped with maple syrup for a particular scene in STS during the Vegas shoot, had Rujuta worried.
"We managed to see that she ate on time. I wasn't travelling with her but was constantly in touch on the BlackBerry Messenger.
The worst part is, I bet the pancake scene is going to be all about showing how her character just loves to eat and uses it as a shorthand for showing that she has a lust for life... and we know that she is calculating calories in the back of her head. It's something I HATE about Hollywood heroines and I'm so sad it's moved to Bollywood now.
* Govinda is another one who has dieted down for Naughty @ 40... is he still naughty at 47?

Note from Filmi Girl:
I love Bollywood - and all the ridiculous things that happen in Bollywood - but it doesn't mean that I can't occasionally make fun of various celebrities and films.
If you don't like my sense of humor, please just move on by - Trolls are not appreciated and nasty comments will be deleted.
