Filmi Girl Rewards the Best Performances of 2010!

Finishing up with my 2010 lists are my favorite performances of 2010. Instead of doing a one big list and ranking in order of some arbitrary guidelines for “best,” Imma do like the MTV Movie awards do and dole out awards based on things that I find noteworthy.

Let me know what you think! I need a statuette to hand out with these awards!

Shockingly I think I agree with every bit of this (even Kat!). Especially Lillete Dubey. She's just fantastic in absolutely everything. And how f'ing hot was that kiss in BBB? Swoon.

Well, I saw BBB last night! and I had a hoot! and yes! That kiss was OMFG!

Other underappreciated performances were Suriya and Vivek in the Rakht Charitra movies. Those were intense RGV performances, but oh it was really nice!

@bombay talkies I am not unreasonable... :) Did you see Pankh? Lillette pretty much pwned that one.

@dishoom Wasn't BBB great?! And that kiss was sooooooo good! It was close between that and Vidya and Arshad in Ishqiya.

You know there are just two Bolly films I really need to see from 2010 - the Rakht Charitra films and Neha Dhupia being a gangster in that other one I can't be bothered to look up the title for. Maybe I'll have to come back and add a category.

Best Use of South Indian Star, Male: Surya?
Best Use of South Indian Star, Female: Priyamani

Those are like intense movies, and if you can watch RGV ones then you would certainly enjoy the performances.

O Phass Gaye Obama? Haha, perhaps i might check it out as well, when i get some time.

And Band Baja Baraat was awesome! and esp the dialogues were brilliant, among other things

I think I'll get crazy if I don't watch all those great 2010 films very soon... But thank you for that list!a

Note from Filmi Girl:

I love Bollywood - and all the ridiculous things that happen in Bollywood - but it doesn't mean that I can't occasionally make fun of various celebrities and films.

If you don't like my sense of humor, please just move on by - Trolls are not appreciated and nasty comments will be deleted.
