Tuesday Gossip!

Greetings, world! Droid number 90210 here... also known as FILMI GIRL!

*revels in Janelle Monae show*

Okay, now that it's out of my system, let's get this gossip show on the road!

* Now that
Dabangg is released, the next big thing coming down the pike is Endhiran! How big will it be?!

The stars also seem to be lucky for Endhiran with most of the publicity and news generated around it being quite positive, except on one occasion when a Delhi-based filmmaker accused the Endhiran camp of having stolen the film’s title Robot from him. While the matter has since hushed down, actor Aamir Khan has expressed his desire to watch this flick. The film has not only created hype in the heart of the film fraternity, but has roused the curiosity of the non-enthusiasts as well.

Well, if AAMIR KHAN wants to see it... (I'm just teasing! I'm glad Aamir wants to see it - maybe he'll remake it for Bollywood! Who wants a ROBOT AAMIR KHAN? Me!)

* I didn't know that Asin was a
Christian but she also celebrates Hindu festivals! (For luck!)

* Two words:
Dabangg 2.

* Farah Khan is having Salman Khan do a
qawalli for Tees Maar Khan.

* And Salman Khan wants to work with
Mahie Gill again.

* A man was beaten to death by police at a screening of
Dabangg.

* Before we leave
Dabangg, read a blow-by-blow account from a viewing at a single screen cinema!

6:20 PM

We reach the venue. The first thing that catches my eye is the huuuuuuuuuuge billboard of
Dabangg out there. Man, it was larger than life. Literally. In the times when multiplexes are required to plug in at least 5 boards in the same space to do justice to multiple films running at their venue, there was just one man - Salman Khan - dominating the entire wall.

* How did I not know Prabhu Deva had such a
sad home life - his eldest son passed away from cancer in 2008. Now, he's confirmed that he's getting married to Nayantra but he's still married. Is he going to pull a Dharmendra?

* This sounds like a disaster: Shakira playing
Kali.

He added, "Kaali- The Warrior Goddess will be a 3D motion film shot on CG. It will be a full-length, two-hour Hindi film to be shot in London, or then in a city in Eastern Europe."

Except she has yet to confirm anything about it.

* Tamil playback singer
Swarnalatha has passed away from a lung infection.

* Two more words:
Bollywood Archie.

* Anil Kapoor isn't just making a cameo in
Tees Maar Khan, he's also doing his famous dance from "One Two Ka Four."

* Sanjay Dutt has made up with
his sisters. His political career seems so long ago...

*
Raavanan was well received in Venice. Says Vikram: "My character Veera was well-received, and many started addressing me as Veera. Now, that's a great appreciation for any actor in a foreign land. I was never this excited before.”

*
Ich is now Engeyum Kadhal but either way I want to see it.

And thanks to
Tollywood is my Bollywood, here is the trailer for JR NTR's new film Brindavanam!

Can you even wait?! JR NTRRRRRR!

I have yet to see a JR NTR film yet...I must remedy this.

Note from Filmi Girl:

I love Bollywood - and all the ridiculous things that happen in Bollywood - but it doesn't mean that I can't occasionally make fun of various celebrities and films.

If you don't like my sense of humor, please just move on by - Trolls are not appreciated and nasty comments will be deleted.
