Monday Monday!

Thank you for all the interesting comments on my Bollywood black face post! It's a touchy subject for sure but one that should be discussed.

Okay! The gossip is flying fast and furious today - everybody must have been busy over the weekend.

Let's get started!

* A bunch of Salman Khan fans were beaten up by the police. He was something like 5 hours late to a promotional appearance and despite that only stayed a few minutes at it. The fans were so furious that they started to riot and were then beaten up by the police. They probably won't be booking tickets for London Dreams - although advance booking starts today!

* Vishal Bhardwaj wants to make another Shakespeare film but not in the near future.

* The headline says it all: Zayed Khan's parents traumatized after watching Blue - and not because it was so dull! They found his stunts shocking!

* Vipul Shah says that Style-bhai is the hero of London Dreams, so we shouldn't worry about another Main aur Mrs. Khanna. I'm rather insulted that he is implicitly comparing AJAY DEVGAN to Sohail Khan. Oooo! I just know that I'm going to be all in emotional turmoil during London Dreams because Ajay is playing secondary hero but I love him SO MUCH! *dies*

* Speaking of Ajay, All the Best: Fun Begins is holding strong and might just be the unexpected Diwali hit!

* The press isn't letting the rumored Ranbir-Deepika turmoil drop. ARE THEY GOING TO BREAK UP?! (Nobody knows but we'll all keep writing about it, as if wishful thinking is the equivalent of actual journalism.)

* Martial arts expert Aatish has signed a film - possibly the remake of The Italian Job - opposite Kangana Ranaut.

* Shahid Kapoor is a prince among men! (As if we didn't know that already!) Going through US immigration, his elderly valet was pulled aside for secondary questioning. Since Shahid knew his valet wasn't good at English, he stayed with him through the entire process.... (all together now) "Awwwwwww! Sooooo Sweeeet!"

* Another generous soul - Katrina Kaif - donates her fees from television appearances to a children's charity.

* Hrithik Roshan threw a big party and was busted by the cops for making too much noise.

* Rajesh Khanna and Akshay Kumar are bickering about something - it's unclear to me from the article what they are unhappy about - money? Rajesh-uncle's house? Dimple's old jewelry?

* Finally, the LA Times reports that (big shock) Bollywood is doing well in the United States.

Abhay Deol walked the ramp for Fashion Week!

So did Sushmita Sen...

... a sheepish looking Salman Khan (perhaps upset that he made his fans riot) wearing a bizarre hair piece...

... and the party girl Sen Sisters Riya and Raima!

And this magazine cover is too hilarious!

I love the LA Times article! I wish I could go to a theater where the owner hands out laddoos too.

That picture of Saif? Priceless.

That picture of Saifu is hilarious. I wonder if Bebo approved the picture - I'm thinking not. ;D

I hope Ranbir and Deepika break up! As cruel as that sounds, I think he deserves better ... :)

Awwww! Shahid is too cute!

Saif: Not so much :P

Deepika deserves better than that spineless Ranbir who allows his family (mother, father and sister) to diss his girlfriend. He comes across as a weakling.

Run Deepika Run. lol

ANONLEE: I disagree completely with your opinion. Of course, it is your opinion and you are entitled to it but I just wanted to add something:) I think Ranbir is being a great guy by standing by his family. What kind of a guy would ditch his family - The family that made him who he is today - for his girlfriend (who can't act)? You may think I'm being biased but I think Ranbir is making the right choice by listening to his family. But that doesn't mean that he can't do whatever he wants. He's just being responsible.

@Simran :) I agree that Ranbir has much more to gain by staying with his family. I wonder if by dating Deepika he was "rebelling" to a certain extent...

Note from Filmi Girl:

I love Bollywood - and all the ridiculous things that happen in Bollywood - but it doesn't mean that I can't occasionally make fun of various celebrities and films.

If you don't like my sense of humor, please just move on by - Trolls are not appreciated and nasty comments will be deleted.
