Friday Update!

Let's see what's happening in Tinsel Town today!!

* Aamir and Raj Kumar Hirani clash over 3 Idiots.

* Asin and Kajol are now BFFs!

* John Abraham's 1 800 Love is well underway and apparently stars Abbas Tyrewala's wife - who may or may not actually be an "actress."

* NaaaaaHiiiiiin! Akki injures himself on the set of Housefull! Ritesh! How could you let this happen to my Akki?!

* Here is one that might make you spit your coffee out in shock - Priyadarshan is making a film on honor killings - starring Akshaye Khanna and Ajay Devgan. Also, he has some disparaging words for Bollywood script-writers.

* Sanjay Leela Bhansali got so mad on the sets of Guzarish that he threw the continuity sheets into a nearby river. Ha!

* So many problems on the sets of Ravana... Mani Ratnam cut Govinda from a scene because he was annoyed with Chi Chi's lateness.

I hope Akshay gets better soon!

The most interesting item on this day's Goss for is Raju/Aamir clash.
I remember Raju saying on KWK that he had to really fight to name his second film "Lage Raho Munnabhai". Everyone who is associated with the film wanted to put Ghandi in the title. And he had won and it turned out that his was a correct decision. Aamir is a guy who is very controlling and he is used to being involved in the decision making, but I also remember him saying that he is a good "assistant" meaning that he is better as assisting rather than directing (this was in a promotional interview he did with Kajol - during Fanaa release).
So I hope that this item turns out to be false. But if it is true I like Mr.Hirani and Aamir even better since obviously they are both committed and care about this film.

Amitabh accused some of the press for writing false rumours about troubles experienced while filming Ravaan. I'm very excited for this film!!!

Ha ha! I am POSITIVE that Aamir and Raju are not clashing over promos or anything else.

Aamir is not nearly as controlling as he's made out to be; he's a very intelligent and reasonable guy, and he has a lot of respect for Raju. I watched them working together and they were having a blast. This is too trivial a thing for them to clash over.

Note from Filmi Girl:

I love Bollywood - and all the ridiculous things that happen in Bollywood - but it doesn't mean that I can't occasionally make fun of various celebrities and films.

If you don't like my sense of humor, please just move on by - Trolls are not appreciated and nasty comments will be deleted.
